All set with Aiden in tow, I left the kids at school & prepared to drive to the city in what would normally take me half an hour, for a one hour, 10am conference to find out what new product Heinz were releasing.

As I got closer to the Westgate bridge, my gps started telling me it was going to take me longer & longer to get there, cars were doing u-turns, and turning off the freeway to take the long way around. There had been a collision on the bridge & there was no way I was going to make it.

I made the call to let them know what was happening, & said I would still drop in to see them before they left. I arrived with Aiden asleep at 10:50am.
