Easter

Easter falls on Sunday

Australia has a four-day long weekend from Good Friday to Easter Monday

Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day falls on the second Sunday of May.

Spoiled Much!?

  • Mother’s Day Stalls – do you give  your children an allowance for their school’s mother’s day stall & how much do you feel  is an acceptable amount for each child to spend? Gifts range at our school between $5 – $10, I feel $5 each is enough.
  • Breakfast in bed – my children spoil me each year with breakfast in bed, usually consisting off eggs on toast, a cup of tea & fruit, delivered in the platter above, which is then filled with my presents as I open them when they are handed to me one by one.
  • Spending the day with your family – I love to spend the day with my beautiful family doing something both enjoyable & relaxing, we will then often visit other deserving family members.
  • Mother’s Day Lunch – I haven’t had the opportunity to do this yet, but would love to have a Mother’s Day Luncheon with other family members.
What are your family’s traditions for Mother’s Day?
